Services
We offer screening
mammograms, diagnostic mammograms and breast ultrasounds, in partnership
with our affiliated radiology practice, Severance Radiology Services
(SRS). You can access our services on referral from your healthcare
provider or you can elect our facility when it is time for your
annual mammogram.
For every new patient
who has previously had a mammogram elsewhere, we contact
the previous mammography provider and get the most recent films
in order to compare.
We are accredited by
the American College of Radiology and compliant with the Mammography
Quality Standards Act.
All six of our mammography
technologists have obtained registry in this specialty with their
professional organization. Although the MQSA standards require
interpretation of 480 mammograms annually, our radiologist
reads and interprets between 9,000 and 10,000!
Your appointment at
our center may include the viewing of a video to help you learn
the proper techniques of breast self exam (BSE) and the motivation
to make BSE a part of your health routine.
We are included in
most common insurance plans.
We will bill your plan in your behalf. We provide discounted rates
for uninsured women. Uninsured, low-income women may be eligible
to get a free mammogram under our B.E.S.T. grant from the American
Cancer Society.
Convenient
appointments are available in the early morning, late
afternoon and Saturday mornings. A phone call to 216-382-8874
during office hours will allow you to select your most convenient
appointment time. Appointments are usually available within a
few days. Urgent requests will be accommodated.
